A songwriting camp group gathered at ESCAPE in Pioneertown, California

CAMPS

Labels and A&R run camps here to find the next record before the touring cycle starts.

Songwriting Camps

Songwriting Camps

Multi-day camps for major and indie labels. Writers and producers paired up across three writing rooms. The setup is built around output — wake up, walk to a room, work, eat, repeat. Capacity for 10–14 writers/producers comfortably. Engineer time quoted separately.

Whether you’re arranging a writing week around the Coachella festival period (we’re a 40-minute drive from the festival grounds), running a session with a major-label artist passing through, or carving out a quiet block away from the city — the rooms are ready when you are.

Label Residencies & A&R Sessions

Label Residencies

Take over the property for a week or a month. Build an album, develop a roster, run a development project end-to-end. Recent residencies include songwriting camps for ODESZA, MK, and others. A&R teams use the space for focused development sprints — two- to four-day sessions, tightly curated.

ESCAPE is a great place to get away from it all and just focus on being creative. There’s tons of awesome art around the property and the views make it feel like you’re on Mars. It is a great place to write and get inspired.
